专利说明:

30 20 25 30 to receive a relatively large number of ashtrays, and thanks to the rotational reading of the table water spray canister, bottles placed immediately over a respective spray nozzle member will be sprayed efficiently.
Often the washing basket is rotationally read at the dishwasher, which implicitly means rotational reading of the spray device in relation to the washing basket.
According to one embodiment, each spray nozzle means comprises a washing nozzle for receiving washing liquid from the rinsing arm socket and a rinsing nozzle for receiving rinsing liquid from the rinsing arm socket.
According to one embodiment, the unit further comprises a table water bottle basket comprising a plurality of bottle guide means, each bottle guide means arranged to pour a respective table water bottle in a substantially upright position with the bottle mouth directed downwards at a respective predetermined bottle mouth position, the bottle guide members being distributed in a second dimension. pattern, which fits the first two-dimensional pattern, so that each of said spray nozzle means is directed towards a respective bottle mouth position when the table water bottle basket is placed over and is aligned with the spray device for table water bottles. Such a basket facilitates the alignment of table water bottles with the respective nozzle means of a spray device.
According to one embodiment, each bottle guide means is designed as a bottle neck sleeve, which has a size adapted to receive the neck of a respective table water bottle.
According to one embodiment, each of the sleeves is provided with a pair of opposite slots for receiving a bottle bracket.
According to one embodiment, the spraying device has a sufficiently low vertical profile to be installed in the dishwasher enabling a table water bottle basket to be slid over the spraying device along a dishwasher basket guide to a washing position.
According to one embodiment, the spraying device is arranged to be releasably connected to the rinsing arm socket by means of a centered fastening element, the spraying device closest to the center being provided with an uncentrated spray nozzle member, which is asymmetrically placed relative to adjacent spray nozzle members. Such an arrangement enables efficient use of the space even if the centered fastening element needs to be accessible from above.
According to one embodiment, the rotary lock is designed as a first part of a form-fitting engagement member, which first part is arranged to form-engage with a lower dishwashing liquid supply line. The lower dishwashing liquid supply line thus forms a second part of the form-engaged engagement member.
According to another aspect of the invention, some or all of the above-mentioned problems are eliminated or at least alleviated by means of a method for batch washing of a number of table water bottles, each bottle having a bottle mouth, which method comprises placing the bottles in a two-dimensional pattern in a disk basket; inserting the dish basket into a kitchen dishwasher; aligning the dish basket over a spray device for table water bottles, which device has a plurality of spray nozzle means distributed in a pattern fitting the two-dimensional pattern of the bottles, so that each bottle mouth is placed in front of a respective spray nozzle member; and washing the bottles while keeping the syringe device substantially stationary. Such a method makes it possible to wash several table water bottles simultaneously in an efficient manner. Placing the bottles in a two-dimensional pattern enables the insertion of a relatively large batch of bottles into the dishwasher, and retaining the spray nozzle means substantially stationary below the bottle mouths makes it possible to efficiently rinse the bottles. inside.
According to one embodiment, the method further comprises the pre-insertion of the dish basket into the dishwasher by replacing a rotatable lower rinsing arm with said spraying device for table water bottles. In this way, bottles can be washed efficiently with the aid of an ordinary kitchen dishwasher. According to one embodiment, the dish basket is inserted by sliding along a basket guide.
Brief Description of the Drawings The above as well as additional objects, features and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent upon review of the following illustrative and non-limiting detailed description of the preferred embodiments of the present invention. invention, reference being made to the accompanying drawings, in which like reference numerals are used for corresponding elements, wherein: Fig. 1a is a schematic side view in section of a front-loading dishwasher provided with a lower rinsing arm of prior art; Fig. 1b is a schematic perspective view, and partly in section, of the dishwasher of Fig. 1a; Fig. 2 is a schematic view in perspective, and partly in section, of the dishwasher according to Fig. 1a -b provided with a spray device for table water fl boxes; Fig. 3 is a schematic perspective view of the table water bottle sprayer for the dishwasher of Fig. 2; Fig. 4 is a schematic perspective view of a table water bottle basket suitable for use with the table water bottle spraying device of Fig. 3; and Fig. 5 is a schematic side view of the table water bottle basket of Fig. 4 when aligned with the table water bottle spraying device of Fig. 3.
Detailed Description of the Exemplary Embodiments Figs. 1a-b illustrate a front-loading type kitchen dishwasher 10, which is typically used for lower counter installations.
The dishwasher 10 is arranged to receive a dish basket or a dish rack 12 in the kitchen equipment standard dimension 500 x 500 mm seen from above. A dish basket 12 is normally filled with dishes 14, such as plates and trays, cups or cutlery. When the basket 12 is filled, it is inserted into the dish space 13 of the dishwasher 10 by placing it on the inside of a front cover 16 when it is open (dashed) and by inserting it into the dishwasher 10 along a pair of opposite ledges 17 (Fig. 1b ), which forms a basket guide extending into the dishwasher 10.
When using the dishwasher 10, dishwashing liquid and rinsing liquid are sprayed on the dishwasher 14 in consecutive dishwasher program steps via an upper rotatable rinsing arm 18 and a lower rotatable rinsing arm 20, each of which rotates about a vertical axis A during operation. The dishwashing liquid, typically water provided with a cleaning agent, from a dishwasher tank 24 below the lower rinsing arm 20. The dishwashing liquid is sucked from the dishwasher tank 24 by means of a dishwasher pump 26 and fed to the dishwasher spray nozzles, which are distributed along the respective rinsing arm 18, 20. During a rinsing program step, clean water or water provided with a rinsing agent is fed to the spray nozzles distributed along the respective rinsing arms 18, 20. The spray nozzles are arranged to spray their respective jets of dishwashing or rinsing liquid in a direction which with respect to axis A has a tangential component, so that the jets put the respective coil arm 18, 20 in root ation.
The upper rinsing arm 18 is provided with a dishwasher socket which rotatably connects the upper rinsing arm 18 to an upper rinsing arm socket 28 which is arranged in an upper part of the disk space 13 in the center of rotation defined by the shaft A. Similarly, the lower rinsing arm 20 for seen with a dishwasher socket, which rotatably connects the lower spool arm 20 to a lower spool arm socket 30, which is arranged in a lower part of the disc space 13 in the center of rotation defined by the axis A. The interface formed by each pair consisting of a dishwasher socket and a rinsing arm socket makes it possible for the respective rinsing arm 18, 20 to rotate relative the dishwasher 10. Dishwashing liquid and rinsing liquid are fed to the lower rinsing arm socket 30 and further to the lower rinsing arm 20 via a lower dishwashing liquid line 31, which extends substantially horizontally from the periphery to the center of the disk space 13 and in the center supports the lower spool arm socket 30. The interfaces formed by each dishwasher rinse arm socket in the pair make it possible to separately transfer dishwashing liquid and rinsing liquid to the rinsing nozzles of the respective rinsing arms 18, 20. Each rinsing arm 18, 20 can be easily removed for cleaning by a dishwasher operator (not shown), e.g. by unscrewing a spool arm lock nut 32 which holds the respective spool arm 18, 20 on the respective spool arm socket 28, 30.
Fig. 2 shows the dishwasher 10 provided with a spraying device 34 for table water bottles, which device can be used instead of the lower rinsing arm 20 when table water bottles are to be washed. The standard kitchen dishwasher is thus converted into a table water bottle dishwasher. When dishwashing bottles are to be washed, the lower rinsing arm 20 is removed by the dishwasher operator, for example by unscrewing the lower rinsing arm lock nut 32 and disconnecting the dishwasher socket of the lower rinsing arm 20 from the lower rinsing arm socket 30 of the dishwasher 10. Thereafter, the table water bottle spraying device 34, which device is provided with an identical dishwasher socket 72 (Fig. 5), is placed in a lower part of the dish space 13, the dishwasher socket 72 is connected to the lower rinsing arm socket 30 and the locking nut 32 is tightened.
The spray device 34 for table water bottles comprises a plurality of spray nozzle means 36, which are distributed over a two-dimensional spray nozzle area substantially over the entire bottom surface of the disc space 13. The spray nozzle area of the spray device 34 has approximately the same extent in both dimensions. In the exemplary embodiment shown in Fig. 2, nine spray nozzle means are distributed over the area in a substantially regular grid pattern, which forms a two-dimensional surface pattern seen from above. A pair of sheet flanges 38 (Fig. 3) extending downwardly at the dishwasher socket 30, branch and abut the side surfaces of the lower dishwashing supply line 31, thereby preventing the table water bottle spraying device 34 from rotating relative to the dishwasher 10. Thus, the flanges 38 function as a root lock lock. The lower dishwashing liquid supply line 31 has a rectangular cross-section which provides additional support for the rotation locking engagement between the spray water bottle spraying device 34 and the lower dishwashing liquid supply line 31. The spatial distribution of the spraying device 36 over the bottom of the dishwashing chamber 13 allows a relatively large number of dishes. table water bottles. By the rotational locking of the table water bottle spraying device 34, a bottle with the mouth downwardly located immediately above a respective spray nozzle member 36 will remain stationary relative to the spray nozzle member 36 throughout the dishwashing step, so that it is exposed to an uninterrupted, well-directed jet. of dishwashing liquid throughout this program step, which jet washes the inside of the bottle. The upper rinsing arm 18, on the other hand, does not need to be replaced for bottle washing and can be allowed to rotate for spreading dishwashing liquid over the outside of the bottles from above. into the dishwasher 10 along the dish basket guide 17 without colliding with the spray nozzle means 36.
Fig. 3 shows the spray device 34 for table water bottles in more detail. Each spray nozzle member 36 includes a dishwashing nozzle 36a and a rinsing nozzle 36b. The dishwashing nozzles 36a are directed upwards, so that the respective dishwashing nozzle 36a, when a bottle 40 is placed upside down over a spray nozzle member 36, sprays a jet of dishwashing liquid upwards into the bottle for washing the interior of the bottle. Correspondingly, the rinsing nozzles 36b are directed upwardly so that, when a bottle 40 is placed upside down over a spray nozzle member 36, the respective rinsing nozzle 36b sprays a jet of rinsing liquid upward into the bottle 40 to rinse the interior of the bottle 40.
The table water bottle spray device 34 is substantially formed as a solar cross having a first rod formed of a dishwashing line 42 and a second rod formed of a pair of opposed rinsing liquid lines 44. An annular dishwashing line 46 distributes dishwashing liquid to the dishwashing nozzles 36a along the periphery , while rinsing liquid lines 48 are connected in a T-configuration for distributing rinsing liquid to rinsing nozzles along the periphery of the spray nozzle member pattern. The dishwasher socket, with the lock nut 32, is located in the center of the sun cross.
Fig. 4 shows a dish basket or a dish rack 50 which is specially adapted to hold table water bottles 40, i.e. a table water bottle basket. The table water bottle basket 50 comprises an upper bottle body support plate 52 and a lower bottom plate 54, which are held together by a set of corner pillars 56. The bottom plate 54 is provided with a plurality of bottle neck sleeves 58, each of which is intended to hold the neck of a respective table water bottle 40 in a substantially upright position with the bottle mouth directed downwards in a respective predetermined bottle mouth position. In this respect, each bottle neck sleeve serves as a bottle guide for guiding the respective bottle mouth to be placed in the correct predetermined position. The bottle neck sleeves 58 are distributed in a two dimensional pattern which matches the two dimensional pattern of the spray nozzle means 36 of the table water bottle spraying device 34 (Fig. 3), so that each nozzle means 36, when the table water bottle basket 50 is placed over and aligned with the spray bottle, directed towards 10 15 20 25 30 a respective fl ash orifice position. In this way, the table water bottle basket 50 facilitates the alignment of the bottles 40 with the spray nozzle means 36 by the spray device 34 for table water bottles. At the location of each bottle neck sleeve 58, the bottom plate 54 is provided with an opening which makes it possible to flush the respective bottle on the inside from below by means of the respective spray nozzle means 36. Additional openings 60 are arranged in the bottom plate 54; the further openings 60 enable the dishwashing liquid, which is sprayed from above by the upper rinsing arm 18, to pass more easily downwards into the tank 24 of the dishwasher.
The bottle body support plate 52 is penetrated by a plurality of bottle body support openings 61, each of which is disposed over a respective bottle neck sleeve 58. The bottle body support openings 61 are dimensioned to allow the body of the respective table water bottle 40 to be received therein. In the example shown, the bottle body support openings are substantially rectangular, each side having a length of about 80-130 mm, and more preferably of about 90-115 mm. Of course, the bottle body support openings 61 may have any other suitable shape. Preferably, the shape of the openings 61 differs from the shape of the bottle bodies. Thereby, the contact surface between the bottle 40 and the bottle body support plate 52 is minimized, so that dishwashing liquid sprayed from above more easily reaches all outer areas of the bottle. Non-circular openings, such as rectangular openings, are particularly suitable for bottles having a circular cross-section.
In the example shown, all the bottle neck sleeves 58, bottle support openings 61 and spray nozzle means 36 (Fig. 3) are arranged in a suitable regular, equidistant grid pattern, with the exception of the most central bottle neck sleeve 58 ', the most central bottle support opening 61' and the most central spray nozzle. (Fig. 3). The reason why the most central bottle position is located eccentrically is that this facilitates easy access to the central locking nut 32 (Fig. 3) when the spray device 34 is to be replaced.
Along one side, the table water box basket 50 is provided with a strip-shaped plastic lining 62, which reduces the friction against the dishwasher door 16 (Figs. 1a-b) in the event that the basket 50 has not been fully inserted into the dish space 13 when the door 16 is closed. that closing the door 16 will cause the dish basket 50 fl ash neck sleeves 58 to align with the spray nozzle means 36.
Along a pair of opposite sides, the table water box basket 50 is provided with a pair of opposite plastic strips 64, which reduce friction against the basket guide 17 when the table water bottle basket 50 is introduced into the dishwasher 10.
The bottle body support plate 52, the bottom plate 54 and the corner pillars 56 are preferably made of sheet metal or plastic. The bottle neck sleeves 58 are preferably made of a plastic material which does not scratch the necks of the bottles 40 to be washed. The sleeves 58 are removable from the base plate 54; they can, for example, be pressed into a form-fitting engagement with the respective opening in the bottom plate 54. Thereby, sleeves 58 can be exchanged for sleeves of a different size or shape, so that different bottle neck shapes and sizes can be handled. For table water bottle neck sizes of typical dimensions, a suitable inner diameter for each bottle neck sleeve is about 26-46 mm, and more preferably about 32-40 mm.
The bottleneck sleeves 58 may also have a shape other than a circular one; for example, each sleeve 58 may have a rectangular cross-section, which makes it possible to accommodate, for example, a circular or rectangular bottle neck. In such an alternative configuration, any other suitable internal dimension, such as an inside of a rectangular sleeve, may be 26-46 mm, and more preferably about 32-40 mm. A table water bottle 40 is often provided with a rubber sealed ceramic swing cap 66. (Fig. 3), which is pivotally attached to the bottle with a metal wire bracket 68, each bottle neck sleeve 58 being provided with a pair of opposed slots 70 for receiving the swivel cap bracket 68.
If the inner diameter or dimension of the bottle neck sleeves 58 is properly selected, the bottles 40 will be held upright by only the sleeves 58; consequently, the bottle body support plate 52 and the corner pillars 56 are not needed. The bottle body support plate 52 serves only as an extra spare support for the bottles 40.
Next, reference is made to Fig. 5, where the table water bottle basket 50 is filled with table water bottles 40 and is aligned with the spray device 34 for table water boxes. When aligned, each table water bottle 40 is held by the table water bottle basket 50 directly over a respective spray nozzle member 36 with the bottle mouth facing the spray nozzle member 36 so that the respective nozzle aims into the ash mouth 40. There is a gap between the spray nozzles 40 and 30. the nozzle means 36 and the table water bottle basket 50, so that the table water bottle basket 50 can slide freely in position above the spray device 34 for table water bottles without colliding with the spray nozzle means 36. The plastic strips 64, via which the basket 50 rests on the basket guide 17 (Figs. 1a-b) , extends downwardly from the bottom plate 54 of the table water bottle bottle 50 and thus contributes to the formation of the gap.
The invention has been described above mainly with reference to a few embodiments. It will be readily appreciated by one skilled in the art that embodiments other than those described above are also possible within the scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims. Although a front-loading underbench dishwasher has been described above, it is for example also possible to apply the invention to other types of dishwashers for batch washing, such as main dishwashers. Above, nine spray nozzle means arranged in a substantially regular two-dimensional grid have been described. It is obvious that another number of spray nozzle means may be suitable. They do not have to be arranged in a regular grid; they may alternatively be arranged in a non-regular pattern. In addition, they do not have to be limited to two dimensions; some nozzle means may be arranged slightly higher than others.
The rotary lock has been described to comprise a pair of opposed flanges 38, which are designed to engage the dishwashing supply line. However, the rotary lock may have any other suitable shape. For example, the rotation lock can be provided by the outer periphery of the table water bottle spraying device 34 if it is designed to abut a part of the inner surface of the dishwasher housing and thus prevents the spraying device from rotating.
Alternatively, the central locking nut 32 may be configured to allow sufficient tightening to allow rotational locking of the table water bottle spray device 34 at the dishwasher socket 72. Although the bottle guide means has been described as bottle neck sleeves, they may have any other suitable shape. For example, each bottle guide means may comprise, for example, a pin which extends upwards from the bottom plate 54 and is arranged to extend into the respective ash neck. It is obvious that the bottom plate 52 does not have to be a plate. Bottles can, for example, be kept in predetermined positions, which fit the pattern of the spray nozzle means, in a basket of any suitable shape. Correspondingly, the upper bottle body support plate 52 need not be a plate.
The table water bottle body support can be provided in some other suitable way or not at all. Although the table water box basket is provided with nine bottle guides 58, each bottle guide 58 defining a bottle position, any other suitable number of bottle guides may be used. For a typical dishwasher, about 5-25, and more preferably 8-16 bottle guides may be suitable. The same number may apply to the spray nozzle means. Although each spray nozzle member 36 has been described to include a dishwashing nozzle 36a and a rinsing nozzle 36b, each spray nozzle member 36 may include only one dishwashing nozzle 36a or any other suitable number of nozzles.
A spray module unit for converting an ordinary kitchen dishwasher to a table water bottle dishwasher may comprise, for example, a spray device 34 for table water bottles and a table water water ashtray 50 or only a spray device 34 for table water bottles. Although less preferred, the table water bottle basket 50 could also be used separately, i.e. without the rinsing arm 34 table water bottles for washing table water fl boxes in any basket-based type of kitchen dishwasher, which is equipped with one or more standard rotating and / or fixed rinsing arms. Consequently, the table water bottle basket may be the subject of a separate application.
